Excerpt: I was so excited to receive my perfume in the mail. I put it on my clothes and neck and arms. By the time I got to school to teach, I could not smell it at all. Was disappointed and will send back. I will try the new Gucci perfume that just came out in it's place.
Summary: I got a sample of this and i loved the smell and seemed to have lasted a lot longer. I bought this and it does not last long at all. I'm actually quite disappointed about this purchase. I expected more from Gucci.
Sweet raspberry jam instead of champagne with white flowers and leather
18 August 2012
Summary: I'd say - try it on your skin before you buy and don't let the advertising to tempt you. To my nose it doesn't smell anything what is claimed. No champagne, no white flowers, no leather. At least not as I know them through my own experience.
Excerpt: This was far too overpowering for me. I usually choose a much lighter, citrus scent, so woody and musky was never going to do it for me. I do like to keep an open mind and often try new fragrances.
Excerpt: The Product Premiere is Gucci’s latest fragrance offering. It can be picked up from the usual places including department stores, perfume shops and perfume counters in Boots and the like. The current prices in Boots are £45 for 30ml, £64 for 50ml, and £77 for 75ml.
Pros: Nice enough scent, fantastic staying power
Cons: Hideous bottle looks cheap and tacky, scent is nothing special
Excerpt: The first thing I noticed was the packaging. Of course this is all down to personal taste but I found the bottle nothing more than tacky. To my mind it looks cheap, and not at all what I would have expected from such a high profile brand.
Excerpt: Gorgeous packaging (as you would expect from designer perfume) however the scent left me unimpressed. It has an initial orange citrus tang that then flows into musky notes. Its not distinctive or unique.
