Summary: I *love* Ange ou Demon EDP. I would rename this "The Haunting". It's like a soft subtle shadow of sultriness -- dark, eerie, exotic -- like something a witch would wear on Halloween night. Released in 2006, here are the notes, per parfumo.net: Top Notes: Mandarin, Saffron, Thyme Heart Notes: Lily, Orchid, Ylang-ylang Base Notes: Oakmoss, Rosewood, Tonka bean, Vanilla I like this original better than its flankers Ange Ou Demon "Le Secret" and "Le Secret Elixir" because...
Excerpt: Perhaps the only positive note I can add to this perfume is the harmonious relationship between the notes of ylang ylang and thyme but sadly the overall effect was such as bad as it could take.
Summary: My favorite! I once had the Hot Culture collection N.1, but I guess they discontinued with it. So I decided to Try Ange ou Demon, which I find it's very similar. I love perfumes with woody and spicy notes, but it's alsways very difficult to find something I really like. The lasting power is ok, not the best, it's not too strong. But I am ok with that, I give it 5 stars.
Summary: I feel this is the more versatile sister of Dior Addict (in spirit). Anyone that's a huge fan of the loud boozy vanilla classics Hypnotic Poison, Dior Addict, Classique or Alien should look into wearing this if they work in an office (usually that distinction is reserved for YSL Cinema but I think there's a monopoly no longer). The powder note is fairly prominent but not as engrossing as Classique, L'Heure Bleu or Dior Addict. I'm quite impressed.
Summary: I must be very comfortable with my dark side if there's a devil in this. I don't find it very angelic either. However, I do find it very balanced, and it makes sense to me that this somehow fits and represents someone who has indeed been through a spiritual journey and has "found themselves", someone who's not afraid of their own shadow. It's a little bit mystical, but also sensual, warm and comforting.
Summary: Musky and hands down the absolute worst fragrance I have even had the displeasure of smelling... Much less owning!! Truth be told- I threw it off my balcony, it was that bad! I was ashamed to have owned this product. LE SECRET is a trillion times better! There is no comparison! I can't believe two fragrances are so drastically different yet created by the same brand. Ange Ou Demon Le Secret is above and beyond the better choice. Night and day difference!
Summary: I have used this perfume for many years and was excited to get such a great price on Amazon. This is not the scent I have purchased at retail stores. It smells old and stale, On top of that, it cannot be returned because it is considered flammable. I am a faithful Amazon shopper and very disappointed with this purchase and this policy. I have purchased perfumes from other online retailers and the return policy has never prevented me from making a return.
