Summary: This is the first time I've had the pleasure of wearing Red Door Shimmer, I've worn every other Red Door fragrance and so far I have not been disappointed. I guess I can now say it doesn't matter what Red Door I wear, I love them all; the only exception being Red Door Revealed should only be worn at night, it's a heavier muskier scent. Red Door Shimmer is marvelous and I'm so happy that I got it here on Amazon for such a great price.
Summary: Red Door Shimmer is another Red Door flanker that in my opinion isn't a flanker at all: Whilst "Red Door" (original) is a Flower-Power-House and "Red Door Revealed" is a Powder-Puff-Peony scent. "Red Door Shimmer" is a berry, fruit, spice scent that bears no resemblance to either. A lot of berry based scents range from slightly sour to cloyingly sweet - in that area "Red Door Shimmer" is a nice addition to the berry genre since its berries, fruits and florals are nicely...
Summary: I have brought Red Door Shimmer by Elizabeth Arden ever since I got it as a Christmas gift about 3 years ago. The smell is not over powering. It's little and fruity. I get complimented on it all the time. Everyone should get it!
Summary: I am sensitive to strong smells and never used perfumes before because they gave me headaches. Shimmer is the only scent that does not affect me and I use it everyday. I was sad when they took it out of the stores because it was a seasonal item but very glad that it is alwasy available on Amazon
Summary: Red Door Shimmer is the perfect scent for this time of the year. I had a bottle a few years ago and some of it spilled when we were travelling in New Mexico due to the high altitude. I was never able to find it again at the stores. I'm so glad I looked for it on Amazons website, they have all my favorite Elizabeth Arden perfumes. Once again Amazon has "come to my rescue.
Summary: I dragged my boyfriend to the store with me last time I bought perfume to get his opinion. We both loved this one :) It's feminine without being TOO flowery. It almost has a warm musky smell. It is NOT the same as Red Door. My bf's grandmother bought Red Door and I had to return it. Here's info on the smell from the Elizabeth Arden website: Sparkling. Contemporary.
