Summary: I, like many others it seems, bought this at Marshall's for $25 thinking it was a very good deal. First off, now that I am looking it up this seems to be the common price, sometimes cheaper, so not really an amazing deal. Anyway... This scent is VERY floral. Some people might like that. I personally have difficulties with florals.
Summary: ordered the 5th Avenue 4.2oz EDP Spray instead of what the picture shows I got the tester bottle instead; no fancy cap and has printed on it "TESTER". So for Christmas I had to say "I'm sorry honey I bought you the wrong 5th Avenue and I'm sorry for trying to be CHEAP"! Merry Christmas!
Summary: 5th Avenue is not a very original and somewhat cheap smelling floral fragrance. Lots of different flower notes are thrown in here and it is hard to say which one dominates (maybe none). Overall it smells quite fresh and spring-like. It has a good staying power and sillage. I like the elegant tall bottle, but the fragrance itself elegant is not, in my opinion. Not totally bad, but I won’t repurchase.
Summary: Don't waste your money. This is a plain, non descript scent which has nothing to make it stand out. It has a sharpness to it that is neither nice nor remarkable. Spray a bit on your skin and you will see that it's nothing spectacular. I don't think you'd smell nice wearing this at all. Images this conjures - sharp, acrid, cheap, shampoo, soap. It's hard to describe, that's how unremarkable it is. Very, very cheap smelling scent.
Summary: A friend gave me a big bottle of this a few years ago. It's nice enough but a bit too 'grannyish' for me even tho' I normally like the old fashioned perfumes. It's not offensive but there's just something a bit too RE (religious education) teacher here for me so I'm giving it a neg.
Summary: This is a fresh floral that reminds me of Hugo Boss "Woman". It smells ok on other ladies - very feminine with lilac, magnolia, linden blossom and muguet, but on me it smells like soap. Toilet soap. I do not detect any magnolia whatsoever when sprayed on me. This one's not for me unfortunately - it does not work well with my body chemistry - I ruin the fragrance. Also, it is a scent that is too fresh for my taste (I prefer orientals).
Summary: purchased a sample of this from Scentagious and I put it on and 2 seconds later- I kid you not it was gone, nothing there. Really wanted to like this one too. I must admit that scents with iris notes in them usually do not work with my chemistry.
