Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue - I wouldn't recommend

Summary: This fragrance, although made by a very good company (I think - it was in the 50's anyway), smells like something an older lady would like. When I say older, I mean at least 80. I'm 66 and I hate the smell! Sorry, I'm tossing the product!
Summary: I didn't think about this being some sort of phony brand, but it must be. The scent does not smell the same as the one in the department store. I can't even describe it . . .not a good smell. I will not make this mistake again. Dept store specials around Christmas are good deals and I know what I'm getting.
Summary: i bought this for my 66 year old mother, she has been using this product for 30+ years, the item we received was not correct it did not smell right and only last 5 min, either the compnay is jipping their new versions or this version in fake or defective. i was not able to return the item, but a big thanks to amazon for refunding me the puchase price.
Excerpt: Just bought another bottle of what I thought was going to be my favorite 5th Avenue at my local Belk chain. Black box was different with big NYC letters. When I got it home and tried it out, it's not the same--more like floozie perfume! Why the change? I treat myself to this perfume and I'm very disappointed.
Summary: Ater trying to find what happed whith my oder I give up. I send a lot of emails without any response. I didnt get anything so far. Its is really disappointed. Be careful if you are planning to buy this product in the future.
Summary: Eau dear! Eau de Fly Spray! Eau no! I really wanted to like this. The reviews made it sound like just what I was looking for, a work perfume with a bit of extra je ne sais quoi. On me this wasn't it. The second it hit my skin, all I could think of was fly spray, and it stayed that way. The only good thing was that it wore off after about an hour. This review is based on sampling the tester.
Summary: Still have a bit left in my 2 bottles of EDP from the original 1996 release. Its was fresh, bright, clean floral with a hint of green. Feminine, classic, put together, elegant, sunny, lasted throughout a workday. This new reformulation I purchased in 2013 (legitimate store) and it was weak, cheap, didn't last more than a few hours, and smelt "off" chemically. A pale comparison to my old bottles...I threw it in the trash.
Summary: I purchased a sample of this from Scentagious and I put it on and 2 seconds later- I kid you not it was gone, nothing there. Really wanted to like this one too.I must admit that scents with iris notes in them usually do not work with my chemistry.
