Summary: I adore this scent. When I first smelled it, I did not like it at all - my first impression was that it sort of smelled "old lady-ish" and was much too strong for my tastes. ...but the more I testedt it out in fragrance stores, the more I loved the smell! Now it's one of my fragrance staples. The best part of this perfume is it's the first perfume I've come across in a while that truly stays on me.
Summary: Though exquisitely perfume-y and elegant in its execution, Miss Dior Cherie does have several rather atypical notes for such a grand fragrance -- cherry, strawberry, pineapple, and of course, "caramelized popcorn" being the most atypical of all. The overall effect is one of a beautiful woman who is perfumed and dressed for the Ballet, only her date takes her to the movies instead, and then buys her a bag of caramels, a large Cherry Coke and the super-sized bucket of...
Summary: This scent is everchanging on me. Somedays I smell popcorn, somedays I smell cologne, somedays I smell like I got doused with champane. But allllll is a good way! So different and amazing to layer with cheaper, overly sweet scents like pink sugar & BS Fantasy line.
Summary: Smells amazing. I own the 2005 version which I believe is this one, but I do got to say the Miss Dior that is currently being sold smells VERY similar to this one on my skin. I'm not sure what the difference is between these two since they smell the same to me. Very beautiful fragrances all around.
Summary: Is it blasphemous if I say I like this but I like the current version even better? It's the pineapple/popcorn combo that's keeping my deepest affections at bay... Cherie is more complex and sweeter than the current incarnation. There's a lot going on here, but it smells well-blended to my nose so the notes lean more towards choir than cacophony.
Summary: I have loved this fragrance since I was a young teenager. I remember spraying it onto my sheets and thinking how luxurious and sophisticated it smelled. Now that I'm older, and have an appreciation for this perfume, it's only fair to do a review. Miss Dior Cherie is a sophisticated, expensive, luxurious woman. She is beautiful, elegant, soft, feminine. The opening of this scent is strong, heavy. Sweet patchouli dominates.
