Excerpt: This perfume was given to me by my notso-young aunt and while not knowing what this perfume smelled like as it was still wrapped so beautifully, I felt excited and delighted to add another perfume to my collection. The bottle is kind of relecting gold and the perfume is kind of gold in color, the bottle is kind of squarish but in a circular way that the front is embossed and looks like it’s popped out in front, it’s a weird shape because you don’t really know if it’s...
Summary: Dune is always part of my perfume collection. It reminds me of a summer I spent in italy close to Venice… ideal for warm nights with a little breeze… I was in love with a boy named Michael. I don´t perceive this fragrance harsh at all, very much the opposite. Don´t know what people are smelling when they say it has a urine note (??).
Summary: I really adore this perfume im in love with its scent. When i smell it in my mind i can see a drunk woman listens to " Life in Mono " drinking and crying for the lost love.. So sensitive perfume !
Summary: I find Dune disturbing. Beneath the warm rosewood there is a strange metallic tang and the smell of plastic doll limbs. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing. The 'dune' is not one at a warm, sunshiney seaside, but rather one on a desolate lunar landscape. It's the only fragrance I've had to scrub off my wrist. It was too depressing!
Summary: Okay, this is seriously nice stuff!! This is a collector’s item. Therefore, any of you who are into the mass market nicey-nicey sickly sweet gourmand fragrances about princesses just move on to the next fragrance. Because, this is a fragrance for those with an adult nose. Some say there is a “sea breeziness” to it. I say, ignore the beachlike coziness that Dior marketing has tried to sell us.
Summary: advertising this fragrance introduces a total mistake! if it is considered to be a breath of summer, the coastal wind, I do not think I look like a seaside holiday ... after spraying this fragrance is released boa constrictor, who immediately goes into attack! I gave him my mom, who loves to severe service odors. I know it is a classic and can not be accused of class, but it is in any case a rookie.
Summary: So my friend gave me her holiday sampler coffret of Dior perfumes... I took to this one immediately. It truly did remind me of the desert... Intensely warm, cozy, powdery-spicy where cinnamon and possibly clove predominate. Evocative of the orange red sand illustration! My memory is hazy so I don't remember much else from a few dabs on the wrist. I only have a mini 4 ml so I will have to treat it like liquid gold I suppose.
Summary: I have been wearing this fragrance since 1990. A woman I used to work with gave me a sample bottle & I was hooked! I've dreaded finding out they would discontinue it. I've tried to find similar fragrances, most of which would cost me much less, but there is nothing quite like this fragrance. I always get complements when I wear it. I'll be truly sad to see it go.
