Summary: purchased this at amazon as i trusted them that this would be an original item. however, it smells close to the same but 15 to 30 minutes after putting it on it no longer smells. The bottle i had previously same brand and name would last and last! i believe this is a knockoff. sold by amazon.comLLC. Buyer beware, best to stick with a local retailer for colognes i think. Apparently it is not returnable.
Well-constructed modern oriental. Just not for me.

Summary: Based on the reviews and the notes, I really thought I would like this one. I don't. There is something a bit irritating to me - cardamon? Also, it's a bit too rich in white florals, which I am very sensitive to in large doses. I can see how many would like this - it's a well-constructed modern oriental. Just not for me.
Summary: This is not one of Dior's better offerings. It is a bland, sweet, vanillic scent that smells like dozens of other less expensive fragrances. I love Dior (Diorissimo, J'adore - often villified, but lovely I think, Miss Dior, and Diorella). I really think at $102.00 for 100 ml EdT, this should offer a lot more than boredom. No sale.
Summary: DOLCE VITA sounds wonderful. But the fragrance is not what I expected. The head notes smell beautiful - but the drydown is not sexy enough for my nose. I miss some erotic ingredients. Spice? Vanilla? The drydown is too simple - I miss complexity. So this fragrance is not me at all. Bottle design is cute and well rounded. Better than the juice...
Summary: The peach, rose, and vanilla combination knocks me out fairly quickly, and as much as I love the idea of this, I can't wear it. When I think of Dolce Vita, I think of cool autumn evenings and body hugging cashmere sweaters, making me yearn for a whiff of it, but then I spritz it and think cedar chest and mothballs.
Summary: I bought this scent online after having smelled it in a perfume strip from a magazine, thinking that it was wonderful. I have been very disappointed. It smells good enough, but has no staying power whatsoever. Half an hour after putting it on, it's as if I hadn't spritzed myself with anything. I am sorry I spent the money, even though I like the scent.
Summary: my gramma gave me this product and i think it smells like someones gramma gave them this product. don't get me wrong i am no spring chicken being in my early 40's, but boy nelly, this stuff is overpowering and pungent to say the least. when i first sprayed it on, it seemed really strong but not too bad. it kept getting stronger and stronger while i was at work (in a hospital)to the point that i scrubbed my scrubs to try and lighten the scent.
Summary: I've tried this fragrance several times, b/c it appeals to me visually, with its yellow box and round bottle. But the scent always leaves me disappointed. It's a woody floral, but to my nose it lacks freshness and sparkle. It's stuffy, almost cloying. I find myself wishing for some citrus in the top notes, or maybe a bit of spice in the base. The composition is so bland and not very original. A very 80s, shoulder pad type of fragrance.
