Summary: My wife has been using diorissimo eau de toilette for better than 30 years. We heard Christian Dior stopped making it. When I saw it on Amazon I was elated. I bought it for my wife and when she tried it, she was disappointed, she said it was watered down, lot more alcohol in it. It short, if we could give it, we would give it 5 thumbs down.
Summary: For at least 35 years, Diorissimo by Christian Dior had always been my fragrance and even after settling in the U.S. Every time coming through London, I always made sure I had a couple of duty free ones purchased. For the past three years I was saddened that I could not find it anymore not here nor overseas.
Summary: I purchased this fragrance because I am looking for something new, and most of the reviews were very good. I received it in good time, and it was well protected. I sprayed a bit on, and it smelled like dandelions. I left it on for a bit, thinking it might just take awhile to mix with my body chemistry. I finally had to wash it off. A few days later, I tried it again. It still smelled like dandelions, even out of the bottle.
Summary: Years ago I used to buy Diorissimo from France, I simply loved that perfume...the scent would last all day ...Sadly this new Diorissimo I just bought is not at all the product I remember...the scent will last for 1/2 hour or less...it is not worth the money I paid for.
Summary: The problem of ordering this type of item on Amazon is that if you do not like the scent (or for any other reason) you cannot return the item. Although this is stated in the product description, it is surprising as most items from Amazon can be returned. In this case I did not notice the non-return disclosure.
Summary: I ordered this item because I used to have this wonderful fragrance before. I love the lilly of the valley aroma but this spay is too diluted, so the fragrance doesn't stay long, and the aroma is not that good quality. I am disappointed.
Summary: I am so very sad about this fragrance. I simply adore lily of the valley. It is a scent I have had in my life as long as I can remember, from the fond memories of my mom and grandmother bringing me bunches of the flowers for my birthdays as a little girl, to high school when I cherished my bottle of Coty lily of the valley and only wore it for "special occasions", through college when I tried to grow my own lily of the valley plants.
Summary: Sniffed this at Saks. A sniff was all I could take. Either there is something wrong with my nose or I don't get the joke. It smelled like Raid. Oh, I am so sorry if I have offended those who truly love this fragrance.
Summary: Oh, this so doesn't work for me. It goes on strong and lovely Easter lily and lilac, a lot like spring, and very pretty, but it fades quickly towards mothball jasmine/lily and stays that way. About ten minutes later, a peppery note comes in, but it doesn't last. The mothball floral persists as almost a soliflore. Just vile on me, which seems to be my fate with most of the jasmine/lilyofvalley/white flower types.
