Summary: This smells like pepper to me. Like I opened a container of pepper and took a big whiff. I don't like it. The pepper smell is overwhelming to me. It contains Tonka bean, which is what I believe makes it smell like pepper. Or it might be the sandalwood.? I don't like balsamic or aromatic perfumes.
Summary: I have met a couple of people who are in love with this fragrance - but only a couple. Most people I know have found this perfume to be a downright assault of the nose. I bought a bottle on a whim without having smelled it first and the first few hours of wearing it I didn't think it was too bad. And then the headache started. Everyone who smelled me mad a negative comment. I figured it was just my chemistry. I gave it to a friend.
Summary: When I originally smelled Dior Addict in the store I liked it - so I bought it. I read a ton of positive reviews about it on here, and for the first few minutes it smelled good; deep & sexual, very sophisticated. However, after buying it and wearing it for hours at a time, I can honestly say that I can't believe ANYBODY would write a positive review about this fragrance.
Summary: So, I am addicted to reading the perfume reviews. Read them every day. Decided I must try this after being seduced by your reviews. Ordered a sample from The Perfumed Court. Holy Mother of God!! This is awful. It gives perfume a bad name. Nursing a mild migraine induced by the aroma thereof. Reminds me of Dune which I also cannot abide. Really, truly awful. I also ordered the Poison line. which I also feel may have been a regrettable choice.
Summary: If someone offered me a million bucks to wear this for a day, I would refuse. There are not many fragrances that repel me to such a degree that I want to gag. I had read so many promising reviews and two seconds after spraying this on my wrist I immediately knew this was a terrible mistake. Within minutes a migraine hit me hard and lasted for two long days.
Summary: I'm truly curious as to whether the people describing this scent as "intoxicating" really mean intoxicating = it's killing me (??) HOW can anyone like this?? True, I do prefer clean, natural scents but I also gave this a million chances to work, and it failed miserably. Once, in the wee morning hours I was shopping at Walmart, walking behind some lady who obviously hadn't showered (or even combed her hair).
Summary: I wore this in high school. Goes to show you how misguided we are in our teenage years!! This is what I'd wear if I wanted to smell like a toxic grandma. Anytime I have crossed paths with a woman wearing this in a business/office setting I have to gawk! This is a ONE spray, DATE night perfume. It is so overwhelming there is really no other appropriate time to wear it. Just awful!!! And you can't wash this stuff off -- blech!
