Summary: Like a high quality version of D&G Light Blue for women. More fruity than floral with the plum note being quite dominant to my nose. Took me less than 2 minutes after smelling it to buy it for my wife. She loved it!
Summary: A citrus fruity-floral that is beautiful. It comes off as a nicely transparent feminine scent that can be worn anytime. The citrus balances the fruit while the floral notes are not so overpowering as to be cloying. My wife could not get enough of Love in Black before trying this (I am not fond of the syrupy LiB, so was super excited she found this.) Give this one a try ladies, and you will not be disappointed.
Summary: Quite a disappointment, this one. I expected a lavish fruity-floral, with a hyper-realistic greengage. In tiny doses, the plum is dynamic, but anything more than a drop results in a somewhat-synthetic and cloying rose/plum/cedar combo. The plum is still the best part, because the rose is rather flat, and the citrusy aquatic notes surrounding it do nothing to add to the rest of the construct.
Summary: Creed Acqua Fiorentina There are many times when I wear the best of fragrances from Creed that I am impressed with what they do with just a few notes. One of the latest successes in that area, for me, is the 2009 release Acqua Fiorentina. According to the note list this should be a fruity floral but on my skin it is a citrus plum wood fest and I never catch even a whiff of either of the listed floral notes of rose and carnation.
Summary: I agree, it is alot like "Scent of Peace", "light Blue", and "Eclat d'Arpege". It's top notes are nicer than those 3, but not by a significant enough margin. This would benefit greatly from some Iris, and Ambergris. Possibly Lilac. It is a very nice, light fresh scent. But as it stands, it is not remarkable enough to warrant the price. Get Eclat and spend the money on something else from niche that actually is of utmost quality.
Summary: The initial phase is delightful, a blend of floral, fruit and citrus notes, providing a naturally sweet and uplifting experience. The plum note is especially noticeable, and it is during this period that the fragrance works best. Once you get into the heart notes, the sweetness intensifies, and the general balance feels wrong. The resulting melee is borderline nauseating, and it is a stage that continues for several hours.
