soft, cottony, elusive, faint marshmallow fading to nutty musk, in a nutshell
17 May 2013
Summary: very soft, cottony marshmallow that, despite 5x3 squirts, repeated thrice in 10 minutes, remains soft and elusive. Frustratingly insipid, to be blunt (when I have just bought a bottle). Well, I suppose it might have more of a scent than Stella Nude (which scent doesn't) but, I have body lotions that have more smell than this.
Excerpt: I always seem to find myself sucked into adverts for Celebrity perfumes by the glamorous ad campaigns and of course the face of a major star. Unfortunately, I often find myself then going out and buying the perfume and then feeling like I've completely wasted my money - which is how I felt with this perfume! It isn't the first Christina Aguilera fragrance I've tried, I've also perviously owned and reviewed her Inspire fragrance which wasn't too bad.
Pros: Nice Bottle Design
Cons: Weak Smell that is too Floral and has Poor Staying Power
Excerpt: <3 Royal Desire <3 ------------- THE PRICE ------------- I bought this perfume about 9 months ago from The Perfume Shop, I bought 30ml and payed £14.99 for this, personally I thought I was getting a bargain as lots of Christina's perfumes had been raved about! There are 2 other sizes available, 50ml usually priced around £20.00 and 100ml which is usually £30.00.
Excerpt: I had never tried any of the Christina Aguilera perfumes so I was intrigued to try her new perfume “Royal Desire” when I saw the chance to get a free sample. What do they say? “Dedicated to women who feel like queens. If you enjoy luxurious things, seduction and finding yourself in the centre of attention, this fragrance was created just for you.” After reading this I loved the perfume already as it sounded right up my street.
