  • Summary: I love the EDT and parfum. I really wanted to love Eau Premiere. I have been wanting a bottle for a year at least. I finally picked one up on bonus redemption day at SDM. I love this bright, sunny version of No.5.

  • Summary: I keep persisting with Chanel perfumes for one simple reason: they work well with my chemistry. The Eau Premiere has a wonderfully classical feel to it, as a modern woman's Chanel that smells sophisticated and elegant.

  • Summary: This smells really good, and I do mean really good. It resembles No 5, but not. It is like No 5 got mixed with the fountain of youth and came back younger, more fresh and vibrant. Like her younger sister.

  • Summary: Chanel No 5 Eau Premiere is so sparkling and full of sunlight, I can't believe it's so dominated by flowers. I'm a longtime fan of Chanel No 5 both EDP and EDT (never have tried the pure parfum, but I hear it's an experience). So I knew I'd adore this version. I was right.

  • Summary: This has a hint of the original but is altogether a different fragrance. I love how it gets sweeter and lighter as it matures, while maintaining an undercurrent of old-fashioned class. Also, it's got the same sort of "sparkliness" that's in Lancome's La Vie est Belle, but with far less sugar.

  • Summary: ~ As I finish my tour of ladies Chanel samples from the comfort of my own home this one greeted me with a very friendly bright aldehyde/lemony opening that calmed down quickly on my dry male skin. It reminded me of a more floral opening of the mens Pour Monsiuer Homme.

  • Summary: For those who are wondering, it's definitely a new formulation in the square bottle. The original Eau Premiere that came out in 2007 features a long bottle with a bit more lemon. It's also more delicate, softer, and there's a nice fizziness to it.

  • Summary: Let’s start by making things clear: Chanel n.5 Eau Premiere is neither a different concentration of the classic Chanel n.5, neither a flanker. It is a new scent on its own which, even though retains some aspects from the classic, revisits and updates it.

  • Summary: Eau Premiere? Obviously a flanker -- but what an improvement over the original No 5. I thought this would be the typical flanker: a loud, berried up version of the mother ship. Surprize! Eau Premiere is it's own perfume. It could stand alone.
