Summary: If you have seen the Coco commercial with Vannessa Paradis swinging in the birdcage, you'll understand the emotions that occur to me when I spray on this wonderfull fragrance. First, there's the search for something that's weird, strange, something you are looking for but you can't exactly pinpoint what it is.
Summary: There are many perfumes from 80s era that I admire for their flamboyant style even though I feel that they are too overpowering and too loud for me to wear. Not Coco. It has style, complexity and exciting flair of 80s but when I wear it I always feel like a lady, which I find true about many other Chanel scents. Coco has an edge but a classy one. It has a strong presence and character but it carried in an elegant and sophisticated way. It is sultry but well-behaved.
Summary: I love Coco Noir. I also own original Coco in EDP & EDT & lotion -- plus Coco Mlle in EDP & EDT & lotion. IMHO, Coco Noir is nothing like black spicy Coco, more similar to fruitchouli Coco Mlle, yet a departure from it also. I have trouble with Coco Mlle's screechy, sharp, peppery patchouli blast -- I seldom wear it because it distracts & annoys me. Coco Noir is soft, smooth, mellow, and much more wearable than CM.
Summary: i have mixed feelings about this one. I love original Cco but too heavy to wear all the time. so this is a good compromise. it goes on very heavy but he dry down is heavenly. Having said that it just smells like Coco diluted out. I sampled but not sure if I will buy a whole bottle. very rich and sophisticated. Nothing like Premiere which made me weak in the knees. the bottle is beautiful and I think one must wear it with business suits.
Summary: Coco takes a while to get used to if you are not used to heavier perfumes. It is heavy, but a little goes a long way. The scent is very romantic, more of an evening scent really. It is a bit spicy, undercut by light floral undertones. I very much enjoy this perfume- but sparingly. This is too romantic for everyday use.
Summary: I like to make a statement when wearing perfumes but at times when rain falling I like a gentler fragrance which is calming and not heady. Coco Noir is just that, not overpowering, lingering and sensual with a gentle smell of rose and jasmine. Definitely my everyday scent but need one of the other Chanel perfumes for night time.
Summary: Lovely fragrance that lasts for up to 5 hours. It is a fragrance that can be used when you go to work, parties, events, etc. Spray lightly on because the spray is powerful and can be overwhelming when you do not control it. Lovely and excellent quality perfume.
Summary: This review is for the EDT. On me it is a mossy, clove-y rose and tonka skin scent. It's so easy to wear, whether I dress up or down. It loses a lippy on packaging. The EdT bottle is a boring rectangle bereft of Chanel style.
