Summary: Sexy, warm, rich, voluptuous, spicy & comforting. Couture scent for the ultimate couture house. A high school favourite, i still remember breaking a bottle at my job and scenting up the coat room for months! Classic and absolutely worth including in anyone’s wardrobe.
Summary: My sisters perfume! That's what coco is to me. When she walks in the room everyone looks at her because she makes an entrance. Not because she is beautiful but because she has style and arrogance, she is sure of herself and says what she likes , she is a bit of a snob and she was never as well liked as her younger sister for her rather arrogant ways .
Summary: I never really understood what the big deal was about Chanel perfumes. I could hardly bring them to my nose without being a bit mortified by the strength of scent. I bravely started spraying test strips and found them to be a bit more tolerable. On a shopping trip with my sister, I sprayed Coco, Coco Mademoiselle, and Coco Noir on strips. Then I did it --- Coco on one arm, Coco Noir on the other. Coco Noir was getting a bit harsh (for me), but Coco was a dream.
Summary: If you guys can, get your hand on a vintage. I tried the current formulation, n while it smelled nice, I found it abit too aldehydic, even after the vava voom opening, i though 'oh well, maybe in a few years, maybe when i'm 40 I can pull it off'. Then newbie here learned that due to ifra perfumes were being reformulated, so I sought out a vintage form, n my my my! Coco!I see why u r a star, coco.
Summary: Review for the EDT. I absolutely love this one! A warm, spicy, sensual oriental. I love how this smells. In fact I actually think this is unisex. Cloves, Spices, Amber, dark resins, creamy sandalwood, I can see this totally working on a man. I also see this much in the same way that I would something by Serge Lutens (whose perfumes are very rich and heady and are inspired by Morocco).
Summary: It took me a little while to appreciate this beautiful fragrance and to learn the correct quantity to spray on for different situations and times. I find for day wear I need to place the bottle on a table and give the sprayer a quick sharp thump with the palm of a flat hand onto the nozzle to get the shortest spray burst of droplets, its a very economical day fragrance but for night you can use more with a good few sprays.
Summary: Just left a review of Chanel Chance. I picked up that along with Chanel Coco a little while ago. Chanel makes some beautiful perfumes. After smelling Chance, Coco Madamoiselle, Coco Noir and Chanel Coco, I decided to get both the Chance and Chanel Coco. Chance is more suited for the spring/summer. I will pick up Madamoiselle in the fall I think, and Coco Noir during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season, hopefully.
Summary: Really classy perfume, apart from that it's interesting how this scent dissolves while wearing - you can smell coco mademoiselle for a while, then you may notice peach as in Yvresse, then something pure vintage appears - it changes all the time.
Summary: I just realized how much of a spiritual perfume this is. It must be the opoponax I.e. (sweet myrrh) and sandalwood. I have the vintage so it's most likely real (non synthetic) ingredients. Wow. This might become my signature...
