Summary: I was very pleased to learn that Wal-Mart carried fragrances such as Burberry Brit at a much lower price than department stores. Burberry Brit is a very nice fragrance. While some of the reviews I read about the product noted that the fragrance didn't last long, I found the opposite to be true. A little bit of Burberry Brit can go a long way. I look forward to trying other Burberry products.
Excerpt: I love it so far! I got a big bottle of this for Christmas. I tested a few Burberry ’s fragrances so I was a little bit exited to find out if this one was great too and result, I was instantly charmed by this perfume. Hummm, with its foody smell, I believe this one come across the yummy category scent. I really like it because on my skin, what stand out the most is the amber, the light sophisticated vanilla and pear notes.
Excerpt: When I received some samples of perfume from my good friend who gives me makeup and perfume samples, one that stands out is Burberry Brit for Women by Burberry . I love this perfume so much because it’s the only perfume that I’ve ever smelled that actually has the scent of fresh limes to it. In addition to the limes, it also smells flowery. This is such a fresh scent and I feel that it can be worn for any occasion.
Excerpt: I have never really been a Burberry fan, but after being given a sample of Burberry Brit I decided to treat myself to the full sized bottle as I loved it so much. I had tried the sample in the Eau de Toilette version, but purchased a bottle of the Parfum as I wanted the fragrance to be more robust and longer lasting.
Summary: Vanilla, peony, almonds, mahogany, and sugar are the notes that stand out to me in this. This is a very adult fragrance in my opinion. It's not too sweet or strong and doesn't fall flat or really smell like anything else I own. It lasts for a good amount of time and I get many compliments from it. I would say this is better worn at night and in winter.
Summary: Burberry's new fragrance for women was created by Givaudan's perfumers Nathalie Cetto and Antoine Maisondieu who tried to incorporate the smell of English lavender from Kent into a contemporary fashion fragrance. The press material talks about English lavender being "stronger" than the French variant and the important role of using an "English" ingredient in order to emphasize the "Britishness" of the brand.
Summary: It's been a love/hate relationship with Brit. I bought a 1oz at Shoppers for $20 ($20 on seletcted fragrances day) for a friend actually.. but I was really curious so I opened it and sprayed it on myself. Yep! I kept it! It's a very STRONG scent initially, which is off-putting for me. The scent quickly lightens up (10 minutes), but throughout the day I find that it doesn't change. It lasts one full day for me..
