Summary: I have 2 opinions on this fragrance: At first, I said, "EW!" because it smelled like laundry detergent. I had no plan on ever testing it again. I hate soapy scents. Had you asked me I would have said "laundry detergent" + "dryer sheets", actually. But ever since I fell in love with Ralph Lauren's Romance, I decided to give Burberry Body a second sniff. Not bad. Not that bad after all.
Summary: At first this is very different from the original Body; on my skin Body Gold is much heavier, almost nearing the density of Prada Candy which is not that softspoken on my skin. Body Golds heaviness comes from a combination of musk, cashmeran and a strong wormwood whereas I barely notice the floral notes or the peach. Give it half an hour, however, it turns into the apple shampoo the original is on my skin.
Summary: I spritzed Burberry Body (after getting a headache from Modern Muse), and ahhh, this is so much better! The contrast from the sharp fresh florals of Modern Muse to the soft warm comforting cashmere woods of Burberry Body made me appreciate BB more than I ever have before. I'm wearing Burberry Body right now, and here are the notes, per parfumo.net: Top Notes: Absinth, Freesia, Peach Heart Notes: Iris, Rose, Sandalwood Base Notes: Amber, Cashmeran, Musk, Vanilla Honestly,...
Summary: Like it a lot..I really wanna save up for the full size. I tried a sample and it was amazing. SO different from other fragrances b/c its so unique and spicy. Definately a winter scent. Not for those who are sensitive to heavy fragrances. Brings back very good memories EDIT: It can be a little too heady sometimes.
Summary: this scent confuses me. it smells different everytime i smell my wrist and even smells different on my right wrist than my left. i find the initial smell to be very soapy...or like shampoo. as it dries down, it becomes powdery and musky but still clean. i dont find this perfume lasts long but it does smell nice....its a complicated scent...sweet spicy soapy musky....perplexing!
Summary: I don't understand why this perfume hasn't gotten higher marks, it's a beautiful, rich, luxurious and sensual scent. I tried it on at the perfume counter and I instantly fell in love with the smell! And I was surprised at how long the scent lasted on my skin. Normally I have to respray throughout the day to get any lasting power with my usual perfumes, but this actually lasted me well into the evening.
Summary: I put this on during the day. I thought the scent was sort of oriental with a bit of a woodsy aura. I never did get to experience the drydown because the scent seemed to vanish from my skin. I could no longer smell it after about an hour. Because of this I would never buy a full sized bottle. I ordered a miniature so it wasn't a big loss.
Summary: This is an interesting one. I normally don't like Burberry scents, so I had to try this one. And here is what's important: The EdP smells completely different to the EdT. I tried both at the same time and in the beginning they smell quite the same. But the drydown is such a difference.
Summary: Body’s sillage is quite nice – cool, crisp orchid and soap – but nose-to-wrist, it’s harsh and nostril-burning. What I like about it is that it mimics freshly laundered clothes, like the ‘Clean’ range of scents (actually, this does remind me of the ‘Fresh Laundry’ scent in said line), but that’s also what doesn’t work about it – the chemical, synthetic high-pitched buzzines.
