Summary: I have received a generous sample of this and while I normally love Burberry fragrances but this one is bleh... It just has too many things going on at once. Sweet, bitter, spicy, fresh... Make up your mind already! It really is like I sprayed on multiple scents at once, not a good thing! Really a disappointment, I was expecting something simpler for a fragrance named Body. Ended up scrubbing it off, I got a real headache out of it :(...
Summary: This fragrance does not smell any good. I tried it couple of times (love the bottle) but hate the fragrance. My mom had little mixed feelings, she thought she likes it for a moment (she received it as a gift soom after) and then realized she does not like it anymore. Now she has full, unopened bottle, that she does not use/like. Too bad, in Europe is not such a great return policy as in US/Canada.
Summary: I'm generally not a big fan of Burberry scents but thought I would give this a chance. After testing this on card I was impressed enough to test it on my skin. Big mistake. This stuff is REALLY bad on me. It doesn't start out too bad, but as it settles it's intensity grows almost to strangling proportions. It's heavy, "cloying" (which is a good descriptor I read in another review) and overall horribly pungent.
Summary: I was excited to try something different from the really floral scents I usually wear. This scent seems to be more mature and seductive. It smelled good when I sniffed it in store. However, after trying a sample, I realize that it did not mix w/ my body chemistry. The rose scent was too strong and it started to give me a headache. The scent was way too sweet for my taste. I was so desperate to wash it off. Definitely will not purchase this.
Summary: I wish I could give you a thorough note breakdown of how this was on me...but I can't, it's very well-blended to the point that I can't tell what it's composed of. However, that doesn't mean I liked it. In fact, I can't stand this fragrance on me (on skin or clothes). I really tried to find some beauty in this - for some reason I thought that there must be something wrong with me - such an anticipated fragrance launch with great advertising & beautiful Rosie as the...
Summary: I tried Body, I bought it and then promptly returned it 45 minutes later. I sprayed it on in the store and walked around and thought, wow this is really a fresh and pretty scent. It was green, sparkling and clean smelling with a bit of rose in the beginning and heart, but warm and cozy too. Then all Hades broke loose with my chemistry. It turned into a synthetic floral/nail polish remover scent that was screechingly horrible.
Summary: Great ad campaign, beautiful sleek bottle, although I can see that despite being pretty the bottle is not overly practical to use. This is unfortunately where the good aspects end for me. The juice itself is a huge disappointment. To me, this smells really off: artificial, thin, generic. It has no direction, no cohesiveness whatsoever. Will not purchase.
Summary: Absolutely horrid. I got this as a Sephora sample, spritzed it on my wrist and washed it off within 2 minutes as it was making me want to wretch. Very old lady-ish and overpowering. I can't imagine how this received any good reviews, there must be a lot of foul-smelling ladies walking about. Different strokes, I guess.
Summary: I recently received a sample of this and was hoping that after seeing all the magazine ads and all the hype about this fragrance that I would like it, but Burberry has failed me once again. There is just something about Burberry's fragrances that don't click with me. While I do love their scarves, this is another perfume I'll have to pass on. It's too heavy, smells generic and there is nothing special about it.
