Summary: I've been in love with this scent for many years now. In the past, I haven't worn it that much because it has been a matter of "saving it for a special occasion." Recently, I've vowed not to save perfume like that - it doesn't improve with time, and shouldn't every day be a special occasion? If I stop and sniff and think, I get coffee and cedar and lavender here.
Summary: Love this stuff. Makes me feel like I'm sitting down at a semi fancy restaurant and they serve breakfast for dinner. At the center of the table there is an arrangement of lavender. Then the waitress asks me what I would like to drink. I ask for coffee naturally. Normally I drink mine black, but today I feel the sudden urge to add a little vanilla creamer. Not enough to ruin my drink just enough to notice its there. Then my waitress asks me what I'll be eating.
Summary: One of the best by Bond No. 9 and a must-have for a gourmand lover, I think, which I am. This is a warm creamy sweet golden gourmand coffee with flavored syrup -- and to me, it's more about the flavored syrup than the coffee itself. It's like sweetened coffee with cream and then a touch of golden syrup ... and maybe hazelnut syrup? .. and maybe vanilla syrup? ... and maybe caramel syrup?.
Summary: New Haarlem is truly a glorious unisex piece of work from master perfumer Maurice Roucel (L'Instand, Guerlain; Iris Silver Mist, Serge Lutens; Musc Ravageur, Frederic Malle, to name just a very few). The notes are well blended, bordering on gourmand, but never quite crossing the threshhold to cloying or over sweet, with great sillage and longevity. it's different, interesting and worth the bucks!
Summary: This is one of my top 3 favorite perfumes of all time.. It smells amazing, and the scent just gets better throughout the day. It reminds me of the holidays.. smells very warm, almost reminds me of cinnamon and vanilla. I believe it may also be unisex, but it doesn't necessarily smell masculine.. It was the first Bond perfume I ever purchased and I continue to purchase it. All it takes is 1-2 sprays and you will be good for the entire day.
Summary: New Haarlem represents the vibrant, spicy, varied nature of Harlem. The unisex nature of this scent makes it beautifully intense. I love the coffee, vanilla, and patchouli, which make the "sexy." As with all other Bond No 9 fragrances, you get what you pay for. A rich, intense scent that lasts and lasts. It smells so good...
