Summary: I wanted to love this, but although it smelled nice at first, the peach seemed to overpower everything else after a minute or two, and it became much too sickly-sweet for me. It made me feel nauseous. :( A very simple, pretty scent overall, but the peach ruins it. It also fades very quickly.
Summary: This smells like heaven. Pears, vanilla but most of all on me is freshly cut grass. So sweet, young, natural, and beautiful. For about 5 minutes. Ok, exaggerating a little, but 2 hours tops best case scenario, 30-45 minutes on me. Too bad, woulda been my HG.
Summary: As a perfume lover, I rarely find any scent a scrubber, but this is the one. I detect none of the lovely notes listed. It's complicately, extremely dirty and disturbing on my skin, forever. Sigh...
Summary: When I first put this on it hit me with what I thought was a maple syrupy smell and later a kind of dirty smell. I wondered whether I received a bad sample. Then I read Tania Sanchez's description in Perfumes the A-Z Guide where she describes it as having an "aspect that smells harshly of wet dog to many people". It seems that I am one of those people.
Summary: This is one of the Annick Goutals that don't work with my chemistry. I get a very sweet pear (not peach, in spite of the listed note) notes, which turns into a floral citrus accord which has a funny bug spray note on me, I still overall adore Annick Goutal, but this is one that I dislike/does not do well with my chemistry.
Summary: Petite Cherie comes in a beautiful bottle - this is true of all AG scents. I bought this in the EDT, which smells like effervescent ripe pears, peaches and flowers to me. The biggest problem with this is that the scent does a disappearing act on me within 10 minutes of application. Tried it on my BFF, same thing happened. She was almost outraged that a perfume that cost this much (I paid 60 pounds) would disappear so quickly. At her urging, I got rid of it.
Summary: RIS a sample vial and ewww....I usually LOVE sweet fruity scents but I really cannot stand this fragrance. I can stand the overly sweet scents but this one is just too empowering. It smells of figs and peaches and the lasting power is quite strong. I sprayed it once and after 7hrs, I can still smell it. I checked out the price of this fragrance and cannot believe that its about £40 for a 50ml bottle, which I find is overly priced for this so so fragrance.
Summary: Simply a darling of a fragrance. Soft, fruity and very elegant for a young lady or more mature woman alike. It's fresh and has top notes of sweet fruits that make it delicious. Not too sweet .. just perfect. Only drawback is it's short lived lasting power. No more than an hour on my skin and then it vanishes. Pity as it's really lovely. I hope you have better luck with it than me.
