Love The Violet Smell
Red Roze, fragrancex.com
5 November 2012
Summary: I used this perfume as soon as I got it. I love parma violets and I could smell this through the perfume. I have been complimented about gorgeous it smells. I would wear for both day and night, depending on your night look of course! This perfume would go great with the little black dress or something similar. I was also impressed with the price! So what, it came in a plain box, at the end of the day, we throw our boxes away. Will definitely order some more for xmas.
Pros: Clean & Fresh, Draws Compliments, Great Smell, Great Value, Long-Lasting, Loved it, Not Overpowering, Sensual, Sexy
Summary: My Queen is a very unusual fragrance. It's sweet but has a bit of warmth, almost spiciness (pepper or cumin?). There's something a bit masculine lurking in the background, perhaps cedar. Given the orris and heliotrope as listed notes, I expected this to be much more powdery. The vanilla has a presence but the fragrance is never over-powering. Very well-blended and long-lasting on my skin ... 6+ hours.
Summary: I bought this without ever having smelled it. I bought the 2.5oz lotion just to see if I would like it. Very nice smell; oriental with an earthy appeal and sexy too. Great wintertime fragrance. It doesn't remind me of any other fragrances I have, and I have quite a few. My Queen is a great addition to any fragrance collection, so if you don't have it, you won't go wrong with this one.
Summary: My Queen is complex fragrance with a beautiful, delicate and vibrant structure. The violets definitely shine in this fragrance but unlike other compositions where the violets are tender, green or shy, this one shows glamorous and happy violets whirling in a joyful dance. The other notes show their presence at different stages just like in a concerto where the violets play the main lead while other notes provide the rich background and variations to a violet theme.
