Delightfully fresh and clean

Summary: Romance for Men by Ralph Lauren, is not unlike the feminine Romance with its subtle soapiness and understated elegance. However, Luca Turin downs this fragrance, describing it as a 'fresh nothing', rating it with one star. I agree that it's not the most amazing scent out there, there is a lot that could be expected from reading the scent pyramid prior to testing, but in all honesty, it's a very pleasant and wearable fragrance which I happen to like.
Summary: Romance by Ralf Lauren is a great scent. It is very masculine, yet playfull and sporty all at the same time. It has a very rich scent but is not too overpowering. I have recieved many compliments from both men and women on this scent. My girlfriend and many ladies that I know say that this is one of the best scents around. Get some for yourself and give it a try!!!
Summary: Sweet, piney, a bit oriental, crisp linen. Reminds me of a formal gathering wearing a tuxedo. A pleasant scent, less synthetic than others, but longevity is a large issue. This fragrance is very recognizable although not to the point of over-use yet. True rating from me is 3.5 Released in 1999. More appropriate for night time wear, but good for most days too.
Summary: Romance is my signature scent & I feel like Ralph Lauren made it just for me. I've worn it for years & I always get compliments. People that know me know that a bottle of Romance will make me smile everytime!
Summary: This was one of my first purchases to begin my fragrance hobby and I could not be happier. I bought Ralph Lauren Romance in the summer and I think it is best for the warmer seasons. The scent itself is rather light and citrusy, meaning that it should be worn in spring or summer. The opening is very nice and stings the nose, but in a good way. The drydown has a slight "clean" musk to it, but it smells very crisp and cool.
