Summary: Oscar for Men opens with an invigorating fresh blast of bergamot and pepper with hints of cumin spice detectable. As the fragrance moves to the early heart phase the cumin now asserts itself forcefully as it plays co-star to the continually dominant bergamot now coupled with waxy lily with the subtle support of aromatic lavender, mild clove spice, coniferous green fir and mowed grass-like violet leaf.
Summary: This is a rare gem. I sprayed it on a card on a whim and walked away from the counter. I kept coming back to the scent card until I returned to the counter and tried it on my arm. couldn't stop smelling my arm so I bought it. At first it seems like something from the early 80s but then it blooms into a complex cedar with undertones of herb and understated wildflowers, even seems like a little green tea in there.
Summary: I absolutely love Oscar by Oscar de la Renta! Upon my first spray of this wonderful fragrance, it smelled a lot like the original Burberrys that came out in the early 1980s. I thought it smelled identical! Since you can't find the ORIGINAL Burberrys anymore (the green juice in the square bottle with curved edges and gold top off to the side), this makes an EXCELLENT replacement. I totally agree with the previous reviewer.
