Summary: I have never owned a honey and tobacco based cologne. I must say that I love Avant Garde by Lanvin. I wore it for to work the first time today. It is very masculine and sensual. The beginning is a very spicy and then turns soft and alluring. It is perfect for the office because it is not loud or offensive. The bottle is one of the best looking ones in my collection.
Summary: I didn't expect to like this as much as I do. When I first smelt it I was not sure about it. Because it wasn't what I expected I had to wrap my brain around it and wear it a few times. Now it is the one I grab when I put on some juice. To describe it I would say this is what the sexiest man alive would wear. It isn't one of those citrus, water, cool smells. It is a warm, spicy, manly smell. Think chocolate, cigars, Cognac, and fine leather.
Summary: I had bought some of this before due to the deal offered when I purchased something else. I was dating my now wife, and she loves the smell of this stuff so when I got low on my supply this was the only one she would allow me to get so I found it here with a great price, and on prime so free shipping for me. I constantly get compliments when I use this cologne, and will continue to purchase every time I run low.
Summary: Avant Garde’s opening features a mixed accord of bergamot, juniper, lavender and spices in a conglomerate - or blended accord. The accord is quite nice… not very aggressive, smooth, full, spicy – emphasis on smooth. With the heart notes, the opening pepper spices combine and continue with the heart spices of nutmeg, cardamom. Also added to the heart accord is a diminutive beeswax – rather it blends in with the other textured mid notes.
Summary: I love it and that is why I ordered it for my husband. It has a very rich/deep smell, lasts long. It's very different, masculine, spicy and at the same time it seems to be sweet. well probably I did not explain it well, but it is simply one of the best perfumes from Lanvin.
Summary: I love this fragrance. I knew I would from the description ( Italian bergamot, spicy Madagascar pepper, floral juniper, tobacco, lavender and beeswax). The bergamot, lavender, and tobacco are the most prominent notes. It is recommended for evening use, but I would also consider it for daytime when you have a meeting or if you are dealing with the public and need that confidence only an invisible accessory like fragrance can produce.
Summary: I was skeptical about this cologne from the start, but after the first day wearing it my mind changed completely. It has a sweet yet very masculine aroma. First day wearing it I got compliments from three random girls from my school. I would consider that impressive. I would recommend this to friends, but I like it to much to share.
Summary: The first time I bought an Avant Garde was last year from a foreign country. It was great and long lasting. This one has the same nice smell. However, I don't think this is going to be the right one if you are looking for a long lasting perfume.
