Summary: Jose Marcos these reviews are based on the individual's opinion. You like it? I don't. Obviously, you don't have a single clue how reviews work. This was the worst smelling fragrance I had ever bought. As I mentioned before, it smelled of expired hairspray mixed with some other revolting stuff.
Summary: Sorry but ... I agree with Dialover 1.000%. No review is better than a misleading one, at all times. I, myself, never write a negative review because I simply don't see the point of telling other people that I don't like/appreciate a scent they do so much. I wouldn't be polite at all. And I suppose Chanel Sycomore must be revolting as well... and Wonderwood...
Summary: I was very excited to get this blind-buy based on reviews listed here. But I have to say that for me, it's just like the starch that I use on my shirts. It is extremely heavy and synthetic, and actually felt like I was wearing a straight jacket. My blood pressure shot through the roof, and I had to wash it off. A week later, I decided to try it again thinking that I may have had a bad experience due to some other circumstance, but it was exactly the same.
Summary: The devil indeed Encre Noire is like a dream indistinguishable from reality. You find yourself lost in a forest at nighttime with no recollection as to how you got there. You smell smoke and sense a presence off in the distance. The shock causes you to freeze with fear but only for a moment. Then you start to walk towards it as if drawn in by some esoteric power. It's so dark and you can barely see.
Summary: Very much a synthetic composition geared toward smoky woody notes, lots of iso E Super and Cashmeran, with that odd, wet paint isoquinoline characteristic tucked between its dry, rooty components. Encre Noire doesn't smell like black ink to me, but its combination of vetiver, cedar, and spruce achieves a crisp incense note that holds a steady tone from start to finish. Although it's pretty linear, this fragrance does smell very good, sort of a lighter take on incense.
I call it affordable beauty!
Summary: While many compared chanel's sycamore from the le exclusifs range to encre noire, and the camp is almost divided equally for the 2. I am afraid I would have to root for encre noire after wearing the 2 for a period of time on several occasions. Wile sycamore is refined And subtle, it is beautiful and a full bottle worthy purchase. I find it very much civilised, a gentleman quality to it and I love it. Encre noire on the other hand blows me away.
