Summary: This is definitely a fake of the original perfume. I bought this for my husband who has been using this fragance for almost 6 years and i just wanted to surprise him and bought this from amazon. But i got surprised because it didn't smell the same and the spray pump doesn't work. It sprays out the perfum like streaming water. Horrible buy. I will never buy perfumes online again.
Summary: I bought the 6.7oz Fahrenheit from Amazon. I thought the formula was off so I purchased a new bottle from Christian Dior directly. There is a BIG difference. The Amazon formula has a sharp bitter scent and the Dior one is the original formula that I have used for years. This is the second time being burned on fragrances from Amazon. Buy from a department store to avoid the discrepancies.
Summary: Yuck. I know this is considered a classic by many, but to me it is just synthetic and smells like kerosene, though it's touted as a violet fragrance. I love violets, but I really can't get past the kerosene smell. I do not know the lasting power (had to wash it off right away), though I imagine it's good as it's pretty potent smelling. Try if you must, be beware.
Summary: Wow (in a not so good way)! This fragrance is an 80s powerhouse that is extremely potent. Personally, I do not enjoy this scent. My reasoning is as follows: The opening notes!!! This fragrance opens with a gasoline smell that is very hard to get over. If this scent is overapplied, the gas fumes are enough to knock somebody out! However, I must admit, the drydown is pretty smooth and even enjoyable.
Summary: ..don't mean to stick my nose in, but just wondering if you actually like this frag. or not. You seem to have alternately given it originally 1 star... and now 5 stars! Have you changed your mind ? (your prerogative I know). Just curious.....thanks.
Summary: At 40 years old I suppose I should be it's target customer, but my God this is bad. Yes it dries down pleasantly, but no where near well enough to justify enduring 3 hours of smelling like gasoline to get there. No excuse for this putridness, especially for its relative high price! A dinosaur of a cologne easily outclassed by so many modern choices...please people, spend your hard-earned cash elsewhere...
