Summary: Greenbriar is my "second" favorite cologne by Caswell-Massey. I have worn Newport since I was in college ... but they always seem to be out of it. Casma was a good fragrance too .... Yes ... I would recommend it.
Summary: I used to use this about 20 years ago and decided I wanted to have it again. Primarily I don't use other brands because they are usually more expensive, not as natural and in general I am not impressed by most of them. Caswell Massey has been in business for over 150 years and is very slow in introducing any new products. This was only one of two male scents that had been introduced in over 20 years at the time.
Summary: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lemon, Artemesia, Sage, Thyme, Lavender, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Amber. Caswell Massey creations ( most always ) excel as classic comfort wears. This is good, of course, if you lean toward older construction in your fragrances. Greenbriar is yet another in this category and while it may retain that "cologne" quality through the first half of the wearings, the drydown is subtle and enjoyable.
