have you tried rsync?
if you're using a mac like i am, you might want to use a shareware program called ChronoSync. it can help sync your laptop and desktop. you can do the syncing once or twice a day. just do the necessary changes in the settings. i've also read about this program called "unison" (emerge net-misc/unison) but i haven't used it. |
