It is important that you don’t just unplug your USB whenever it is still in use. Doing this would significantly damage your USB’s components. As what I understand about your problem is that the file system in your USB might be corrupted and therefore acts as though there’s no file system present when you opened it through explorer.
Here are some steps I’d like to share that might help you solve your problem. 1.) Launch disk management from your control panel's administrative tools or right-clicking on My Computer and select Manage. 2.) Disk Management application launches and now your visible partitions are displayed. Find your device on the right-upper sequence of devices. Now check if there's already an existing partition on your flash drive. 3.) If there is a partition try deleting it, create a new one, and format it as FAT file-system. But, If there is no partition present, simply create a new one and proceed to format it as FAT file-system as well. |
