Default Picture Error on XP

My pc is running on XP. The problem is, the XP SP2, Plug and Play does not detect my digital camera already. I use a Canon PowerShot. It worked for the past months. How do I fix this?

Maybe, there had been a glitch from your digicam or your software. But, it is best that you perform software reinstalling.

First, you have to remove it from your pc. You can do this by going to “My Computer”. If you see the camera listed, right-click on it and then, remove it. You can also go to“Device Manager” by right-clicking on “My Computer”, select properties, click the Hardware tab and then “Device Manager button. You can remove it from there. Then, after all of these, you can just reinstall the software. Plug in the camera and you’ll see that you’re back on track.
