I plugged in a different hard drive which shows up in the BIOS, but I get a screen saying that the hard drive s.m.a.r.t detected it was bad, but I was thinking that if I formatted this drive that error would go away. But I can't format it because for some reason, I can't boot from my CD-ROM. In the BIOS, the CD-ROM is detected and it's set to be the first boot option, but my cds aren't booting.
