What's a Flat-Panel TV?

I often heard about flat screen tv's but I have no idea what a flat panel tv is. Who knows what it is? What makes it different from a flat-screen tv?

Hi grexia, uhmmm, I don't know much about flat panel tv though as far as I know they also have flat screens and the reason why they are called flat panel is that they are considered to be so thin that they can be hung on the wall just like a painting. Flat screen tv as what the name tells, it does have the flat screen and have wider viewing angle compared to those curve ones where you can see the whole picture even if you sit far away from them.
