PS3 overpowering other HDMI Ports

Hey I have a Vizio VO47L and when I play the PS3 or watch a BD and then switch back to my Dish HD box from a different HDMI port the picture will continue to show PS3 on half and test color lines on the other half even after the PS3 has been turned off. The only fix seems to be turning the tv off for about a minute to let it reset however, I do not have this problem in reverse when I switch from the Dish box to PS3 I don't run into this. Does anyone have any idea of why this is happening?

In my personal opinion, I think it’s because of lagging. What I mean is if you switch abruptly, there is a tendency that after you have played your PS3, images from your PS3 or color lines show up in your tv because your PS3 still sends circuit images to your tv. It would be best that you turn off first your PS3 after you have played before you use your Dish HD box. It’s quite risky to use your tv with multiple equipments, all turned on and switching as you please.
