Default Good Digita TV Reception Setup?

Does anybody know how I can get a good and decent Digital TV reception or signal? I tried a powered antennae and the signal was really bad.

I see. First, you should stay away from “Powered Antennaes”. These things already have built-in preamplifiers. In short, it actually limits the bandwith (transmission) or number of channels you are actually receiving. Second, avoid setting up your antennae around steel or concrete structures. These structures kill off transmission because it blocks frequency. A good sample of antennae setup would be to place it on an attic near a window. For further good information, check this link. AntennaWeb. It’s a good resource about all sorts of antennaes.

Thank you for a quick reply. You’re right about powered antennaes. My antennae’s setup is in my backyard storage room’s ceiling. I’ll be checking it soon and make some renovations. Probably, I’ll do your example setup in the attic.

There's this FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) site that may help you get more ideas on what to do to get a better signal. The AntennaWeb site is also my strong suggestion on your issue but Dizzy already gave you that.

Check the AntennasDirect FAQ link HERE.
