In color accuracy, Plasma takes the advantage but it depends upon room light, manufacturer and model. Plasma’s color richness and naturalness will prevail in rooms with lower to normal lighting. LCDs is better in brightly lit rooms due to their inherent anti glare technology and brightness.

In power consumption, LCD takes the advantage since it uses a florescent backlighting to produce images, so they require substantially less power to operate than plasmas.

Well, in longevity, it depends on your brand. Either plasma or LCD, it depends on manufacturer quality.
