Default Need tips on how to keep my camcorder steady

Hi guys

Need your help. I really love to shoot videos but the very problem that I have is how am I going to keep my camcorder steady. My hands seems shaking and it gives me a very annoying result when I shoot videos.

Can anyone share to me any tips that would somehow help me keep my camcorder steady?

Kindly share.
Thanks

Yo Tamia! Well, I have here some tips but they are far more useful for professionals and broadcasters. But I guess, this could somehow help you and guide you.

First, special attention should be given to a camcorder's overall weight and size. Determining the camcorder's overall weight and size, as well as whether the camcorder is front- or back-heavy, makes a difference in choosing the most appropriate type of support, which will affect camera balance.

There are several options for handheld camera stabilizer systems. Steadicam has become the benchmark, an award-winning manufacturer to which other handheld camera stabilizers are compared. The Steadicam Merlin stabilization system supports camcorders between 0.5 to 5 lbs. The Merlin has a unique design to provide you with an ultra-lightweight solution that not only increases stability and shooting options, but can simply go anywhere.
