I've got a Canon HF100 and would like to consider getting a monopod to help when taking longer clips (like a wedding). Situations where a tripod isn't convenient. There are dozens of monopods out there, but I'd like to find one that collapses to as small a length as possible, without being a piece of crap. Any suggestions on what to consider, or to avoid?

I found some useful information in the Amazon reviews of their modopods.
The Canon Monopod 100 with integrated mini-ballhead seemed to get decent reviews. * 4-section monopod that comes with mini-ballhead * Extends to 64.5 inches; folds down to 21.3 inches * Foam grip on the top leg section, a hand strap, and rubber leg tip * Weighs just over a pound Since I'm tall, I was looking for the maximum extension and not most compact. |
