Everyone wants to convert from .m2ts to something else. I want to take something else (DivX, AVI's) and convert them to .m2ts Does anyone know of a solution.
I just got a new Panasonic 850 series tv that can play AVCHD files from a camcorder through an SD card. Well i want convert my movie library on my computer to .m2ts so I can throw them on the SD card and play them on my TV in a nice format. One that is hopefully a lot smaller than mpeg-2. It doesn't seem like this is possible though. Why is that? By doing this I should be able to take Hi-Res movies with full 5.1 surround that would ussually take up several gigs of space and make it much smaller and easily playable on my tv. |

It was my understanding the Panasonic TV's will play back certain MPEG-4 and H.264 formats.
Does your TV manual specify the format? M2TS is the container in which a video is transmitted between devices. A lot of different codecs can be used within M2TS. |
