Default From camcorder to wide screen - live feed

How do I do a "live feed" from my camcorder to a wide screen? For instance, if I'm covering an event like a concert or rally and I need not record it. Instead, I just need to "broadcast" it live direct to a wide screen.

How do I do that? What are the requirements?

You would need a wide screen, your camcorder, a tripod (if you don't want to carry the camcorder all the time while you're covering the event) and an LCD projector (be sure that the lamp time of your projector is long enough for you to use it during the entire duration of your event)

Check if your camcorder has an RC connection and check if the projector has provisions for RC ports (usually these are three ports - colored white, red and yellow)

Just plug your camcorder's RC connectors to the projector's ports and you're all set!

Apart from what Wills previously mentioned, I think you should also be wary of which format to use while you're covering that event. For instance, if you want clearer images, use the wide format. That'll produce a smaller feed or image on the wide screen but at least the image quality's better.

Also, it would help if you prepare some kind of lighting while you're covering that event. Concerts usually have moving lights and you might not be able to capture the best angles and images so proper lighting is good and effective.

And yeah, don't forget to bring extra power cords and extension wires!
