How do I upgrade my phone’s firmware? I have a nokia. Does anybody know how to? Please elaborate. I need assistance.

Before getting started, make sure you have met the requirements. You must have the following: PC with 1GHz or higher Pentium-compatible processor; 256 MB of RAM; Windows 2000 (SP4 or later) or Windows XP (SP1 or SP2); Administration rights on the PC while installing; Internet connection; Fully charged, compatible Nokia phone; USB connection cable; and USB port. It is important that you back-up your personal data such as contacts, photos and messages into your memory card.

Next, download the nokia software updater. Visit this link, Nokia Europe - Device software update. Click the Nokia Software Updater Setup icon to open the install wizard, which will guide you through the installation process. After this, you can now update your phone software by connecting your cellphone to your pc through a USB Nokia cable. The software will automatically guide you through the whole update process.
