More info here: email (dot) nokia (dot) com
Nokia BetaLabs announced a few days ago that they're launching a new service called Nokia Email. This is push email just like those of the Blackberry or Apple’s MobileMe. Hence I reckon this will be a premium service. Has anybody tried this one? I logged on the website and Nokia is allowing sign-ups during the beta period for free. It’s only limited to ESeries and NSeries handset with S60 3rd Edition OS, though. Pretty cool idea for Nokia to do this, in my opinion. Because this service will now allow GMail, Yahoo and other emails pushed into your phone almost immediately. Do you think this is a promising endeavor on the part of Nokia? |

Premium service...meaning this will be a paid service?
I think it's promising but if I were Nokia, I won't keep my hopes up. Blackberry is, whether we like it or not, the dominant player still. Interesting to note though that this service will only be limited to certain Nokia phone models. That's like openly segregating your consumers. Not good. |
