Default Low Quality 3GP

I have a Portable Multimedia Player. My video files are in 3GP format. I downloaded some of it through PC and transferred in my Nokia 6233. When I played it in my phone, the picture quality was very poor. How can I Improve the picture quality?

Why don’t you try re encode your video files from your PMP. There is a tendency that maybe your video files’ codecs have not been updated. Ergo, making it low quality when played in your phone. In comparison, you're better off playing those videos in your PMP or PC rather than from your phone.

Thanks. Sometimes, I transfer some video files from my PMP to my cellphone only as a temporary storage. I usually use my PMP for data transfer. Probably, I have to update the codecs.

From the way I understand your issue alphaben is that you have transferred a 3GP video that was not made from your Nokia phone. It is likely possible that you need to convert the video once more.

Please check this Apollo 3GP Video converter software.

Another thing that you need to consider is to check possible technical problems with your phone so always consider calling the Nokia technical support as well
