Why is it when I tried to transfer some music files into my mp4 player, some have been successfully stored and some have not? The other music files that have not been transferred have red/orange exclamation points beside them. What does these mean? How do I successfully transfer music files?

Hi there paule. There is a chance that you may have listened to some music from streaming in the net. Streaming does not automatically transfer the music files into your pc. You may have thought that it automatically downloads the files when you added (add to playlist) the music titles into your playlist (Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, etc.)

Hi Paule, check the settings/features of your mp4 player as well. See if it can accommodate the type of music file that you want to play. There are players out there that are a bit "selective" of the type of music files that they can play. Just to give you a quick example --- a friend of mine bought an mp4 player and he thought that he could play mp3's without any glitch. Alas, the player can only strictly accommodate mp4's and nothing else. Weird, I know. But I guess you just have to be careful when buying your gadgets.
