problem eith my CZV:M 30gb

I recently got my CZV:M 30gb back from refurb. It connects well and all the songs transfer over well enough. It's when i play it back that the trouble begins.

Every 5 songs or so, the first 5 seconds are incoherent crackly static noise, it then cuts out for a second or two and then plays normally. Obviously not a crippling issue, but highly irritating and i'm not accepting a broken player from them.

Any ideas?
