My creative Zen micro photo 8gb has died, and i am not sure which product to go for e.g. the creative zen x-fi 16gb or an IPOD. The thing that puts me off IPOD is the fact you can only download off Itunes, and not sure if i would be able to transfer the music I have stored on my PC from on my old creative which i is a combination of music downloaded off other sites and CD's.
Please help? |

You don't need to download from the iTunes Store. The iTunes client on the pc will quite happily fetch the music already stored on your pc, assuming it's in a recognised format, eg mp3, and synchronise it with the player.
So, don't let that be a limiting factor if the iPod fits your requirements otherwise. But don't just jump on the iPod bandwagon just because its there. There are loads of good and better players out there to choose from. |
