I need a new MP3 player that is not made by Apple has sod all to do with requiring iTunes to be installed. So far I have shortened the list to either the X20 or Samsung's 8GB bluetooth/touch thing with the ridiculous name.
Both seem to be good with only slight doubts about the X20 with click wheel and some problem with duplicating mp3s when creating playlists (I think I found a page that describes what to do though). Bluetooth is not that important to me as I don't think I am going to be buying any bluetooth headphones so I think I am leaning towards the X20, but the Samsung one does look good. Anyone got either of these or is there anything I should also be considering (just not iPod)? Playing videos, pictures, or games are low priority. Simon |

Hi sugarman!
You have picked two great mp3 players for consideration, I must say. Based on what I read on your post, you seemed to have answered your own question which is to get the iRiver X20 Design-wise, I find iRiver the better one! It's features are also great. Both mp3 players have similar features in terms of photo scans, video-playing and the like but you already said that these are low priority. Anyway, whichever you choose will still be a greay buy, in my opinion. I might buy an iRiver x20 for myself too! Cheers! |
