Can I connect my MP3 player to an audio system?

Can I or can I not? And if I can, do I need an adapter or can I connect it directly? And if adapter is required, is there a specific one?

Hi techman, you can check if your mp3 player comes with a connector. This one's usually a stereo mini-plug that you can use to connect the audio output or headphone output jack of your portable device, in this case your mp3 player.
