Default Basic MP3 players

I am looking for a good basic MP3 player with very clear forward/back/pause/stop/start buttons - no shuffling - no radio - no recording - no images - I just want to download files to listen to and need to keep the mechanics as simple as possible, whilst maintaining durability, light weight, good audio quality and outdoor durability.

Can anyone recommend something?

Hi Genevieve! The way I understand your query is that you are going for a really simple, yet durable player. I'm not sure if you have a preferred budget range.

Anyway, I would highly recommend the Sony NWD-B103 player which was recommended by alphaben earlier. It is light and durable because it's made by a trusted brand. I know it has a radio feature but you can always not use it.

Cheers!

iriver will recommend the iriver Volcano T7. This player has all the features you don't need but it is cheap. Worth every penny you spend.
