Default Samsung SCC-NV4HD & NV24HD

I recently purchased the Samsung NV24HD. Do I need to spend top dollar on the Samsung SCC-NV4HD cradle to watch my movies and pics in 720p? Or is there an alternative cable that will work like a special HDMI cable?

Samsung website is not very forthright in providing that information.

But, I found something that seems to tell the whole story:

NV24HD : Samsung Premium Digital Camera

Then click the "Part Names" tab.

I would say that you need the cradle and a standard HDMI cable.

This is the same way that Kodak HD digital cameras work too.

Now, Sony HD digital cameras do have a special HDMI cable that plugs directly into the camera. Available only from Sony for $40.
