Default S5 IS super macro exposure problem

When shooting in macro the exposures are fine, when I switch to super macro and lightly touch the shutter button the image on the screen turns darker resulting in an under exposed shot. I've tried changing many settings with no improvement. Any ideas?

Could try to change the metering mode to spot or evaluative mode. Also make sure no shadows are casted when taking the image. I usually hold the shutter button halfway then when the meter and focusing settles I press all the way down. Might have to do it several times 'cause the object is very close to the lens and will have a bit of trouble metering.
